Stage Two: Construction Update

St Bede's Catholic College are excited to announce the opening of the Benedict Building in 2021.

With it's large, open plan learning environment, the Benedict Building is a learning space that will promote flexibility, cooperation and collaboration.

An update from Richard Crookes Constructions

On Friday 23rd April Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) were proud to deliver the most recent stage of the St Bede’s Catholic College development, the first-floor hospitality area. This staged handover included the new state of the art commercial kitchen, domestic hospitality, two new general learning spaces and a brand-new canteen complete with new fridges, ovens and a hot chocolate & coffee machine. In addition to the new building works, RCC have also completed a refurbishment of the existing hospitality rooms, converting those spaces into a new staff room facility that will accommodate future growth of the St Bede’s campus. Both areas have been completed ahead of schedule with the final handover for Building B to be completed prior to the commencement of Term 3, 2021. This is another landmark delivery for the campus and RCC couldn’t be more pleased to continue our partnership with the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle and St Bede’s Catholic College.
